The first one is dark theme that takes effect nearly everywhere including File Explorer. There are at least two features in Windows 10 Pro that can save your eyes. The fact that there are plenty tutorials on how to relocate the start menu to the left of the taskbar in Windows 11 is enough of a proof that new design isn’t always better than the old one, especially if the changes is too different from the past version. It might look less beautiful but it is more functional. It is built based on the engine that powers Google Chrome browser and yet many users believe that Microsoft Edge is faster and lighter.ĭespite being an older version, Windows 10 Pro has an arguably better Start Menu than Windows 11. Microsoft Edge is the recommended browser in Windows 10 Pro offering a simple yet sleek interface alongside a slew of features that makes browsing the web feels much more convenient than when you use Internet Explorer. There have been a lot of issues and some of them have affected many users’s experiences significantly in using the operating system. Still, just like any other Windows versions ever released by Microsoft, Windows 10 Pro isn’t completely without problems. As a matter of fact, some users consider Windows 10 Pro as the best version Microsoft has ever made and hence they are reluctant to replace it with the latest version. When an operating system already has everything necessary for one to work with, there is little to no reason for upgrade. Probably not related, but if anyone knows a fix, let me know.At present, there are still many people who prefer using Windows 10 Pro than upgrading to Windows 11. Enabled it on the Windows Settings, but Win+v doesn't do anything. Also I can't get Clipboard History to work. I'm not even sure where to start looking, since there are no apps eating up resources or anything. I would be very grateful if anyone can offer any suggestions. I did that once, and that installed Windows Feature Update with tons of crapware, including Edge, tons useless apps and so on, so I had to reinstall 20H2 from scratch, and this time didn't update. I should also note that when I run Ghost Toolbox, it runs update check and offers to update to 19042.2486. Like I said, with the same setup and official Windows 10 install, I don't have this issue, everything is very fast. If I try to run any task, like for example copy some files from one folder from another, the PC becomes almost frozen until that task completes - much more slower than at idle. There is nothing going on in the background, I am not running any apps, Task Manager shows no activity, RAM is at ~1.5-2 GB after I restart my PC, everything is at idle. Also, webpages load extremely slowly, for example even Reddit takes almost half a minute to load all the little icons. Tasks such as navigating folders in Windows explorer, switching between apps with Win+Tab, opening new tabs on the browser, right-clicking on anything, pressing on any UI element to focus on it, sometimes even typing, comes with a very noticeable delay. I just installed Ghost Spectre Windows 20H219042.985 64bit SUPERLITE + DEF, did the initial setup, but I'm noticing that the OS is extremely slow and sluggish compared to regular Windows 10.
